My search brought me to this website, and your personal story so beautifully written.
No words can describe the empathy and compassion that I feel for you, your husband, and Gia Joy. I have a two year old daughter (I became a new Mother in my 40’s!) and I know that watching your child suffer is the worst form of torture for a parent.
Through my personal and professional life, I have known many adults and children with cancer, several of whom were given very bad prognosis by doctors, who actually beat their cancer and are now living a cancer free life. Little children who are now healthy and happy teenagers. Positive thinking and getting second, third and fourth opinions is essential when something doesn’t sound right to you.
